Overview

A 2D Stealth Platformer based around a viral infection that turns citizens into zombielike creatures. With no way to fight back against enemies, your only choice is to hide, flee, and distract your way to safety.

I handled the auxiliary features like the main menu, pause menu, animation code, and dialogue system. It was better for me to code these while our main coder handled more important features since this would ease up his work load.

Music

Around mid-development, I started to work on the music for the game. At first when I created the gameplay music, I thought it was going to be the main menu music because that's what I had in mind. Going for a somewhat creepy feel. But then our director decided to use it for the main gameplay. And so, I used another old piece I made for the main menu.

Sound Effects

A lot of the sound effects ended up being unused in the main game mainly due to time restraints. But I will say that for each sound effect in the game, there were 3-5 sound variations that I showed to the director and went through an approval process. Which were quick and no unnecessary drama was created. Perhaps you could find them in the game files...
